I’m Alexandra Sheehan, and I’m a freelance B2B content strategist and writer who currently lives in beautiful Puerto Rico. I was forced into freelancing full-time when I was fired for taking a stand against plagiarism.
Now I work with people who know the value of high-quality original content and how it fuels progress towards overarching business goals.
My work has earned awards from Content Marketing World, the Custom Content Council, and the W3 Digital Awards.

I have bylines with Shopify, Wave, Oberlo, Vend POS, Payment Depot, Handshake, and other top technology companies.
I’ve been a guest panelist at the Rutgers University Business School Digital Marketing Summit and the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) Virtual Conference, as well as a featured expert for Peak Freelance.
Post-college, I started my freelance career from a pink (cringe) laptop in New Zealand. After being unable to continue to defer my student loans, I returned stateside where I was hired by a top content marketing agency in North Carolina. There, I had the chance to learn a ton on the job, and eventually lead the launch of content programs for Verizon Fios and Stainmaster. I had a few stints at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and a small web dev/design agency in Colorado before I was catapulted into self-employment. 🔥
For the past 5 years, I have been focused on creating expertly written and optimized content for some of the top technology companies in the world.
In a nutshell, I create content about how to run your business and do your job better.
To me, that includes working fewer hours, making more money, and serving more people. I’m on a mission to not only do those things myself, but to help others do the same. Through my Final Stretch editing services and mentorship chats, I take tedious tasks off people’s plates so they can find more flexibility and enjoyment in their everyday.
